Updates

It's been a while since we've been able to post about all the stuff we've been up to. Here's an overview.

We've been scouting for baby sales, so we've been slowly accumulating stuff for the baby. Only 10 weeks to go now. Baby thinks all this stuff is hers, so she climbs all over it. I think if she knew what happens in the baby bath, she wouldn't be quite so fond of it.
Also, that multi-colored thing you see in the bath is a rainbow-colored hedgehog the baby got from my friends Katie and Jeremy. It's super cute, but Baby is absolutely terrified of it. When we opened it, she took one look at it, her ears went back and she started stalking it. We pushed it closer to her and she jumped about 3 feet in the air. It's really pretty funny. I think it's the eyes that freak her out. She doesn't like the stuffed dog that my mom bought the baby, either.
This is just a funny picture of Jason in a Snuggie at his parents house. I think it looks like a choir robe. The thing I don't like about it is that it gets horribly static-y. It snaps and zaps you when you move.

We took Baby on a trip up to Brainerd to visit my family for New Years, since we got snowed in on Christmas. This is a picture of Baby in the truck cab.

I have still been crocheting. This is a close up of the stitches of the hand warmers that I made Nikie for Christmas.

This is a photo of the whole thing, finished. These were pretty easy to make. I was pleased with how they turned out.

This is a little purse with a heart attached. The heart is horribly lopsided. I've never tried to stitch a crocheted thing to another crocheted thing before. It wasn't such a success, but it's close. The purse itself was really easy and I was really pleased with it.

Another of Baby sitting on Jason's lap on our way home from Brainerd. She really loves car rides. She's a good cat on them. She doesn't even need to go in the carrier.

Christmas at Sharon and Allen's house. Jason's aunt Laurie gave him a cute little bib. Funnily enough, it fits Jason!

Jason's shower pan passed its inspection, so now we can continue work on the bathroom in the basement. He bought the toilet and the vanity cabinets at a Menard's sale this week.

This was Thanksgiving. Nikie gave hair cuts in Kris and Brad's kitchen.
