Blue scarf for Jason- it's not real good. Very tight at the bottom, and now it's wide and loose at the top.
Jason has been doing a lot of work on the house- putting in drain tile and a sump pump and roughing in plumbing for a new bathroom. I will be glad to be a 2BR house! Pics of that later.
This past weekend, Melissa, Erik and Elizabeth came down and we had so much fun! We went to Underwater Adventures at Mall of America, then went shopping and IKEA... it was a long day for a 2 year old!
I also joined a concert band a few weeks ago, and I'm really enjoying getting back into music. I'm really rusty... it's been 5 years since I've played. It's really nice that this group is a quite sizeable band with lots of instruments. All ages and skill levels. Even 2 conductors.
We have outdoor concerts in the summer. I can't wait to perform those. We have a lot of fun music for summer, that don't really get "lost" outdoors. Lots of marches and showtunes. Love one called Lassus Trombone. We are playing a Phantom of the Opera medley and an Oklahoma! medley.

Keep making the squares and when we come to MN for Gradpa's party I will show you a couple of ways to put them together. I am so very proud of you. Now for the scarf. As you become more comfortable all of your stitches will be even. Like I told you Ann is a very tight crocheter and I am somewhat loose. So we adjust the needle to make the measurements come out right.
GREAT JOB.
Aunt Karen
